IT & Office Administrator

The Company

The Role

The role is varied, providing key support to the IT & Office Manager, working alongside the rest of the office management team.  You will be expected to work with the support team to deal with a range of issues.  Your hours will be 9am to 6pm.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Office & IT staff Inductions
  • Escalating IT issues to the front line support
  • Maintaining tech inventories and stock checks
  • Maintaining IT and Telecoms spreadsheets and databases
  • Liaising with HR and IT support provider, to set up new user accounts
  • New user accounts-sending welcome emails, ensuring they have set up as required
  • Set up/ maintain phone extensions
  • Set up new PCs and telephones on desk
  • Assisting the IT and Office manager with upgrading staff machines
  • Managing Skype accounts
  • Managing Airwatch –Mobile Device Management tool
  • Configuring emails on mobile devices
  • Managing the laptop loan log
  • Setting up of audio/ visual equipment in meeting rooms
  • Assisting with meeting room set ups/ issues
  • Communicating updates to staff
  • Creating & editing help sheets for team/ staff, uploading on to the intranet
  • Ensuring IT and Office intranet pages are kept up to date
  • Wiping/ recycling of old IT equipment
  • Basic trouble shooting
  • Researching projects as delegated by the IT & Office Manager
  • Covering in the absence of other members of the team
  • All other duties reasonably expected

Competences applicable to the post:

  • Proactive approach with the ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to communicate to staff at all levels
  • Logical approach to problem solving/ trouble shooting
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Positive and flexible approach to team working

Qualifications and skills:

  • Educated to A level or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year work experience within administrative environment
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • An awareness of Health and Safety procedures desirable

Remuneration and benefits:

Salary

  • Dependent on experience

Quarterly Bonus

  • Opportunity to earn up to 24% salary per annum
  • Bonus dependent on company and individual performance, paid in quarterly installments
